Is Airene out yet?
Not on the App Store. Version 1.0 is in beta and waiting on review. Email us if you'd like a note when it ships.
Does Airene work without internet?
Yes. Everything during a flight runs offline — the exercises, the fear meter, all 39 narrated explainers, and the turbulence forecast, which is downloaded before departure. Sign-in and syncing need a connection; the flight itself never does.
How does the app know what stage the flight is in?
You tell it. There's a stage picker on the in-flight screen — still on the ground, taking off, climbing, level and steady, bumpy, coming down, landing. Motion sensors and the barometer suggest a stage, but they never override what you chose: a detector that decides you've landed while you're still in cloud is worse than no detector.
What's the difference between the free tools and a subscription?
At v1 there's no subscription. The whole app is free. A future subscription tier is planned for additional content; you'll only see the paywall once that work is live.
Does the app send my fear ratings anywhere?
No. Your ratings, reflections and predictions stay on your device unless you sign in, and then they sync only between your own devices. The usage analytics the app sends are never joined to your identity and can never contain a fear rating or anything you typed, and you can switch it off in Settings. Full detail at /privacy.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app's profile screen and tap Delete account. That removes your account and everything synced to it from our servers, deletes your sign-in record, and clears the app's data on that device. It's immediate and can't be undone. If you've already deleted the app, email support@getairene.app and we'll do it for you.
I'm having a panic episode right now and the app isn't helping.
